Caelum Malbec Reserva 2012
This Malbec Reserva makes Caelum excel displaying all its best. It is rich in aromas of red fruits and long lasting in the mouth, having extra complexity in the plate thanks to its barrel regime.
Terroir: Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. Mainly composed of clay, limestone and rocks.
Grapes: trellises at 1050 m above sea level.
Pairing: it is excellent for asados (barbeque), but also works well with game, poultry, lamb, pork, pasta and hard cheeses.
Serve: 15°C and up to 15+ years stowage.
Production: 8000 bottles done by a manual selection of grapes aged in French oak barrels for 20 months.
Style: it has a deep red ruby color and violet highlights. Presents fruity aromas such as red fruit and ripe cherries. Very elegant, smooth and fresh in mouth, also shows a long persistence.
